Tori Tedesco’s 2016 Thoroughbred, Made In America (Hank), struggled to grow adequate sole and achieve a healthy sheen on his hooves for years. Working as a veterinary nurse at a large thoroughbred farm, Tedesco sees many hooves. After observing the improvement in hoof appearance and strength in her patients at work, she wanted to try Docasco hoof dressing for herself.

Tedesco describes her hoof care journey as having “tried it all’. In consultation with her farrier, Brian Osborne, she started Hank on Docasco in February 2024.

After four months using Docasco and working with Osborne, the results speak for themselves. Hank’s feet now have a healthy sheen, increased sole depth, and an overall improved quality. Tedesco describes the transformation as, “bad cracks were growing out quickly, and not breaking off as much. His sole had grown a ton of depth, and overall his hooves don’t look “dull” anymore,” she said.

When asked if she recommends Docasco to her peers, Tedesco said “Yes, and already have! A ton of my friends use it. Especially during this time of the year, keeping horses’ feet healthy is hard and so far it has helped them with the brittleness, and breakage. There’s been less shoe pulling as well, which is a win for everyone!”
