HEAT is the enemy of Acrylic Adhesives!
The common equine acrylics are designed to be used at 70° F. They can be used at higher & lower temperatures, the farrier must be aware of how to modify the mixing & use procedures. Shelf-life I storage is greatly reduced by high temperatures. The farrier truck cap can reach 140° F in the summer; the acrylic performance at this temperature is seriously affected!
Refrigerate adhesives for best shelf life
(Sound Horse foil-packs are purged & sealed)
Keep your adhesives COOL for best results!
(use a cooler in hot weather)
