Series III Universal “Glue-on” Cuff System
This is a brief example of what Connecticut farrier Barrie Hulse did for “Huey”, a 24 yr old Clydesdale-Thoroughbred cross-bred with the SoundHorse Series III size 5 cuffs.
Series III universal glue-on cuff system (patent pending).
Horse has possible Cushing’s or, more likely, metabolic syndrome. Presented with laminitis.
½ inch aluminum alloy plate cut with hand-held jig saw.
One shoe ready while second shoe is glued with the Series III size 5 universal cuff and clamped while curing.
Finished shoe with Series III cuff glued to hoof.
Shoe on hoof with silicone impression material packing.
